It’s been a confusing time for the role of test scores in college admissions. While many schools’ admissions policies are still “test-optional,” test scores still play a critical role in financial aid/scholarship decisions. Additionally, the further the pandemic days are in the rearview mirror, the more colleges and universities are deciding to return to admissions policies that require test scores.
